Barista Course $65

Aromas commercial barista course sessions are a great place to develop your industry knowledge and barista skills. Barista Courses can be based on your equipment in your location or in our roastery and training facility in Brisbane. Whether you just need a refresher Barista course on cleaning a machine, or you need someone to teach your staff how to pour perfect rosettas and latte art. We have a team member that can work alongside you to impart their industry knowledge on your team.

The Barista commercial course session is either taught in a three-hour session or split up into a schedule to fit around your staffing requirements and business trading hours.

This course is for anyone passionate about coffee. It’s informative and friendly; we enjoy sharing our knowledge and experience. Hosted by one of our professional coffee trainers, we cover:-

1. The history and origins of coffee,
2. Tour the Aromas coffee roasting facility (if trained in our premises),
3. The storing and transportation of the beans,
4. How coffee is roasted, blending techniques and how coffee needs to be cared for.
5. Espresso basics - from the technical definitions of espresso to learning how to adjust your grinder,
6. Learn the difference between good extraction & bad extraction,
7. Learn how to produce the perfect extraction,
8. Texturing milk – the science behind milk and it's ability to hold beautiful micro texture,
